I was busy reading ‘Connect the Dots’ a collection of 20 short stories based on Entrepreneurship by the Authoress Rashmi Bansal. Intrigued with the title, I was lost in the stories of Entrepreneurs, who were dictating their journey to the Authoress with Extra Intricacy.

Nanny

Coming back from school would feel like such a conquest. Right from thumping down on the couch to be pampered with fruit drinks or stuffed with heavy healthy main course meals, it would be endearing. Although not just as much as then, but now I miss and cherish those little acts the most. The most I miss is my carelessness. Unbothered, ‘cause I’d know she is going to straighten out all the mess I make before I rush down to study for the next day. Needless to say, conclusively I was an irresponsible kid.

We see #tags everywhere these days. On my laptop screen, on my Desktop and even on my cell-phone, the tags are flowing in an arbitrary motion everywhere! Technically, a hashtag is a word or symbol prefixed with a # symbol. A trend that is pretty much in vogue on the social networking/micro blogging websites these days. So if you want to stay abreast with the latest trends, keep tagging the #tags. The amazing thing about these hash tags is the pace at which they have gained popularity and worldly fame!

Are you God-Fearing

In my work as a consultant for India’s richest families, helping them invest their money in real estate, helping them reap profits in these grim times, I have learnt more about human behaviour than anything else. I meet successful people almost every day, something that I love about my job, I get to pick life-hacks from them. Some of them are forth coming and share them with me, others, I have to myself decode.

16 is not just a number

The number sixteen. What’s so special about it? 16 is the natural number following 15 and preceding 17. 16 is a composite number, and a square number, being 4² = 4 × 4. It is the smallest number with exactly five divisors, its proper divisors being 1, 2, 4 and 8. Ha-ha! Yeah sixteen is not mere number if we consider in context of age!

Being 16 is difficult

One beautiful morning when you wake up in your heavily cushioned bed you will have a sense of freedom and excitement. Now things like politics will start making sense to you. Things like gel and fancy clothes will become your priority because a world out there is waiting to judge and criticize you.

These days being sixteen is more about Tuition, Friendship and Relationships.

Teenage as we know, is an age of fire. It’s an age when bad, alluring things attract us the most. We experience a lot of changes in this particular age-period of our lives. Age as they say, is just a random number. You must know how to mould the permutations with numbers. 

What you want to become?

‘What do you want to become when you grow up?’ a grandpa asked his grandson.

‘An auto driver’ Mike said with pride. The next minute Maria rushed to bang the 5 year old on his back.

‘How many times do you want me to repeat it? You should say that you want to become an IAS officer when you grow up. Being auto driver is not prestigious. Only poor people do that.’ She warned him and vanished into the kitchen as the cooker kept whistling.
