‘We broke up. I do not want to live
anymore.’
·
Whenever someone breaks up from a serious
relationship, (s)he usually goes into a depressed state and thinks like (s)he
wouldn’t be able to live their life as their partner has left them alone, that
their survival is not possible. But is it really the truth?
When you
are in love, you picture yourself with them and as soon as you are in a
relationship, you shape your world around them. Your life changes. Everything
you do is one way or the other related to your partner. Being with someone you
love is a great feeling. You have someone you know who would be there for you
no matter how hard the situation is, you have someone with whom you can share
everything- from the tiniest thing that bothers you to your biggest secrets.
The mere feeling that you are not alone expresses it all. Isn’t it?
So when
such love falls apart, your world falls apart. Heartbreak is one of the most
difficult things to face. A life without the person you love seems impossible
to live. The world that you had created with them is no more. So you think it’s
the end for you too. But one thing that most of the people forget while facing
a break up is that they had a life, a world they were living in, before that person
came into their life. Life keeps on changing. So if you could change your world
then for them, why can’t you do it now?
Don’t
forget, it’s in your hands how you are going to take your break up. A break up
can either tear you apart or can make you stronger. Like it’s said ‘Learn from
your mistakes’, learn from this break up and make sure you never make the same
mistakes again. Don’t ruin your life just because a relationship didn’t work
out. Move on. Take your steps ahead for a better life. It’s okay to get hurt
and suffer in pain. It’s going to hurt till the time you are giving it the
power to do so. Once you make up your mind to move on, it won’t affect you
anymore. So get up, look ahead. There’s a brand new life waiting for you.
Always
remember, Break ups are not the end of the road, but a junction that offers
many roads ahead.
