Review-
The fifth book of Preeti Shenoy is as intense as you expect it to be. A good
book which carries the essence of Metro reads but keeps moving inside your mind
once you are done with it. The good quality of paper used and the good quality
of editing makes it worth reading. Actually an error free book is a blessing
and with this book from Westland you truly enjoy the blessing. The book at times
gets nostalgic with the characters going down the timeline thinking about past,
while at times the cooking chemistry between Aman and Anjali makes you blush.
The witty comment from Anjali makes you go rofl. The bitchy nature of Dipika
makes you feel bad for the protagonist Aman. Overall the book is mixture of
almost everything life serves you with when you have experienced love.

I finished this one fast . It is a good novel which gives a magnified view of the so called breakups in love and how going through one is easier said than done. The ending's particularly good and sends home a message.
ReplyDeleteThe One You Cannot Have: The name says it all. The name itself was catchy and the fact being that this is Preeti Shenoy's Novel made me grab the book as soon as it arrived from pre-ordering and read it immediately. I took me 3 hours to finish this 275 pages of complete magic. Yes, indeed Preeti has created a magic. I cried with Shruti, laughed with Anjali, understood with Aman. This book has it all. It will look like as if a real life is running infront of you. No exaggerations in writing. Preeti's writing style has been augmenting and now it is at the peak.
ReplyDeleteDissimilar to her previous books this book is from male point of view (60%). This is a welcome change. Writing in opposite gender's perspective is really tough but then Preeti has done it again so perfectly. I could feel the emotions and wave length of every single character differently.
Worth a read! Grab it Soon guys :)
